There are really good Public relations firms and if one’s business, for instance, is a factory in far away China where employees are not top notch English language specialists and most of the clients are in the UK and and the United States, it might be worthwhile to tap into expert PR firms to handle the job. In most instances, they can do the job better than your production manager in Guandong.

What can I say?

A visit to another outsourcing facility last week had me in awe. The owner of the company is proposing to build a good audio visual facility that can seat a good number of employees. It will have a fantastic collection of DVD’s and the place will even come with comfortable home theater sconces. Oh la la! Employees can relax after receiving irritating calls by listening to good music in the employees lounge or, they can watch the latest flicks in the company theatre.

Outsourcing financial reports

Another outsourcing facility that I visited within this month is heavy into financial reporting. They have a good number of encoders and Certified Public accountants that looks at scanned invoices and receipts and encodes it in a specified format. At the end of the day a financial report and company balance sheet is generated. I heard that one of the top 10 firms in the fortune 500 outsources its global financial accounting department over here.

A visit to another BPO firm

A visit to another facility had me in awe at the acquired abilities of the employees. These ones were digitizing badly handwritten documents. Most of the handwritings were like chicken scratch and are very difficult to understand. Despite it all and armed only with magnifying glasses, the employees were still able to encode data with great accuracy. Wow!

Business that benefit from outsourcing's boom

With the outsourcing boom in the Philippines, 24 hours convenience stores and fast food chains benefited a lot. However, little known is the fact that Spas and massage clinics are silently making a killing as BPO employees, thousands and thousands of them patronize these areas. As a result, the need for good massage therapy schools that will train and supply the demand for more therapists.

Culture of outsourcing different firms

Visiting a couple of BPO facilities yesterday, I noticed that every company has its own culture that goes all the way to their health orientations. Both firms have their own exercise facilities with one having a well used treadmill and other equipments. The other one had a sparklingly new and mint sized condition exercise facilities that seems to be touched by nothing beyond the attendant’s cleaning cloth. Hahaha!

Another home based business idea

Last weekend, I received a couple of baby shower invitations from two lovely newlywed call center employees. The qualities of the cards were so nice that I immediately thought of recommending it as a home based business idea for creative moms. With so many young BPO employees in a building, it is very probable that a handful of them will get married, celebrate birthday parties and hold other types of parties within the year. Hmmnn…

Lifestyles of some outsourcing employess

People in the outsourcing business are fashionistas. Being young, energetic and relatively gainfully employed, they are able to indulge in the latest trends. For instance, a lot of them are into diet formulations that I think are unnecessary for most of them. The latest diet remedy that is the fancy of a lot of them is called lipovox. A lot of them are doing research on the product hoping that it will be declared safe and effective by their personal doctors. Let’s see!

Outsourcing Consultant's busy year!

Things have been pretty busy these past few months and it may have something to do with the wind chimes and other charms that we installed in various places in the house as we celebrated the Chinese New Year. When properly used, those charms are supposed to draw positive energy into ones home and family and bring prosperity to those who used it. I really don’t know but it seems to be working!

Letters from readers

With the rapid penetration of high definition television, blue ray and similar technologies, I wrote about the emergence of HDMI switches that will allow the seamless integration of high definition sources such as HD television, HD players, HD video consoles, etc. The day after I wrote that article, I received a private emails from a couple of friends that they have spare switches that I can have. Now, let me write about money and its importance to people. I am therefore expecting some in my paypal account tomorrow. Hehehe! :-D
